Siro Elazar scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorden Colebrandts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Mateus came free, but Jorden Colebrandts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Siro Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorden Colebrandts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Mateus in the 18th minute of play forced Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Jorden Colebrandts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorden Colebrandts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Mateus, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A nice corner shot did that Hernan Sarmento got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorden Colebrandts quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Basilio Mateus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorden Colebrandts having to interfere. Benigno Manilan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Van Kestbeek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Portus Ganda's Benigno Manilan threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ernst Jansens, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jorden Colebrandts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Mateus in the 33rd minute of the match. Jorden Colebrandts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siro Elazar's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Basilio Mateus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorden Colebrandts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sarmiento de Resistencia were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Portus Ganda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hernan Sarmento took the corner. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basilio Mateus made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Simon Criston. After 57 minutes of play, Portus Ganda's Marc Van Kestbeek made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benigno Manilan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute, Basilio Mateus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorden Colebrandts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Jorden Colebrandts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Mambru went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Jorden Colebrandts was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Basilio Mateus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 68 minute of play. In the 71st minute, Rodolfo Mambru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorden Colebrandts having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Portus Ganda's Luckas Van der Perren seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luckas Van der Perren the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Portus Ganda protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luckas Van der Perren had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 76 minutes into the game, one of Portus Ganda:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 84th minute Basilio Mateus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorden Colebrandts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Hernan Sarmento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Lennert Dirickx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sarmiento de Resistencia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
