Spectators: 7486 (Terracing: 5615, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Attilio Fortunato started the match with the kick off. Attilio Fortunato kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Portus Ganda booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edoardo Cabrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuele Ranieri hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Danny Spoelberchs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Marc Van Kestbeek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portus Ganda's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Van Kestbeek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Di Lullo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Valdieri's Alfonso Bottone got a free kick in the 20th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Hugo Kindt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portus Ganda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valdieri the free kick. Hugo Kindt hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Fortunato in the 28th minute of play forced Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Jorden Colebrandts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Valdieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulvio Bozzelli to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Marc Van Kestbeek notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Jansens in the 47th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Marc Van Kestbeek took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Aurelio Di Lullo to make any attempt to save it. Emanuele Ranieri hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Aurelio Di Lullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Van Kestbeek in the 59th minute of the match. With a little luck, Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo got control of the ball when Pierre Van Leemputte tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, Portus Ganda's Ernst Jansens made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Di Lullo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, Ernst Jansens dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aurelio Di Lullo, 0-4. Attilio Fortunato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jorden Colebrandts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edoardo Cabrini during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Edoardo Cabrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Di Lullo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lennert De Loose. In the 82nd minute Ernst Jansens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match, Pierre Van Leemputte got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aurelio Di Lullo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aurelio Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Jansens in the 85th minute of play. Aurelio Di Lullo made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Pierre Van Leemputte sent off a good shot on target. Portus Ganda played a much better game than Valdieri and deserved their victory. The Valdieri players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
