Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Basilio Mateus started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Basilio Mateus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Di Lullo should have stopped the shot. If Siro Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Felipe Leguizamón got a free kick in the 20th minute. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Benigno Manilan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Fortunato in the 21st minute of play. Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Elazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Basilio Mateus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Edoardo Cabrini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valdieri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarmiento de Resistencia the free kick. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Edoardo Cabrini hit a great ball. Aurelio Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Elazar in the 35th minute of play. Edoardo Cabrini hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Basilio Mateus took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Elazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, one of Valdieri:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Valdieri. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Attilio Fortunato was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Forte. After a defensive mix-up in Valdieri's zone, Siro Elazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Di Lullo came out of the goal and Siro Elazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute Basilio Mateus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Mateus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Aurelio Di Lullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Di Lullo came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarmiento de Resistencia's Siro Elazar. But to his dismay, Siro Elazar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The supporters of Sarmiento de Resistencia booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Forte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siro Elazar came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aurelio Di Lullo could save by the left post. In the 72nd minute Basilio Mateus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Mateus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo got control of the ball when Siro Elazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Siro Elazar made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Di Lullo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Siro Elazar came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aurelio Di Lullo could save by the left post. Siro Elazar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aurelio Di Lullo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aurelio Di Lullo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Mateus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Di Lullo stood somewhat misplaced when Basilio Mateus came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 92 minute. Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Valdieri from getting a goal against them. Sarmiento de Resistencia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
