Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Octavio Fidele started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Sarmiento de Resistencia booed when Juniors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Fidele didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Basilio Mateus notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Juniors FC's Mathias Roganović. Mathias Roganović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mathias Roganović was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Rodolfo Mambru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodolfo Mambru really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Sandalio came free, but Benigno Manilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benigno Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Loren in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Octavio Fidele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Gartzea kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Hernan Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Benigno Manilan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Fidele in the 27th minute of play. Juniors FC's Mathias Roganović proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Juniors FC from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Elpidio Bakar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias Roganović was a little too slow when Siro Elazar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 4-0. 42 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Fidele came free, but Benigno Manilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basilio Mateus was the one to do the kick off. Mathias Roganović stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siro Elazar's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute, Leon Galindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute of the match Hernan Sarmento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mathias Roganović showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 71st match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Sandalio to maneuver through the defense. Mathias Roganović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Mateus in the 75th minute of the match. After 76 minutes of play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Basilio Mateus made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathias Roganović was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacobo Loren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Benigno Manilan made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Leguizamón during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jacobo Loren charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobo Loren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Juniors FC's Jacobo Loren got a free kick in the 90th minute. After some careless play in the Sarmiento de Resistencia defense, Octavio Fidele kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benigno Manilan. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benigno Manilan should have stopped the shot.
