Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Juniors FC's Lucas Ixaka started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benigno Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Ixaka in the 4th minute of play. Braulio Ourente kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Juniors FC's Leo Perna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benigno Manilan. Benigno Manilan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Basilio Mateus notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Juniors FC's Mathias Roganović. Mathias Roganović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mathias Roganović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Mateus, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Juniors FC booed when Sarmiento de Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. When Simon Criston fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarmiento de Resistencia's protests and gave Simon Criston a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Simon Criston. Lucas Ixaka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Juniors FC's Lucas Ixaka in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Rolando Sarmiento hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Tomás Iliana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juniors FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Iliana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Manilan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Montrell to maneuver through the defense. Otávio Sarmento took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mathias Roganović. Juniors FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 40th minute, Gervasio Macario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juniors FC's Mathias Roganović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Mateus in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basilio Mateus to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucas Ixaka scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Manilan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benigno Manilan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Macario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Leo Perna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juniors FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After having played for 65 minutes, Domingos Sandalio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juniors FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Sandalio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Leonardo Gartzea notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Sarmiento de Resistencia's Benigno Manilan. Benigno Manilan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benigno Manilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Macario in the 75th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Juniors FC's Lucas Ixaka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Manilan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 88th minute Leo Perna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Juniors FC booed when Sarmiento de Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Elazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Leo Perna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juniors FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1.
