The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ariel Iliana took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Tristan. Rene Tristan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Horacio Xabier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rene Tristan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Horacio Xabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 minutes of play, Stronghold S.A's Ariel Iliana made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rene Tristan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaston Matthew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Federico Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Everardo Vela during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Stronghold S.A getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Everardo Vela hit a great ball. In the 30th match minute, Stronghold S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirko Vaagenstoft to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Justo Guerrero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Federico Abascal. That made the score 1-3 after 31 minutes of play. 38 minutes into the match, Stronghold S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Matthew came free, but Federico Abascal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Stronghold S.A's Ariel Iliana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Tristan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 47 minutes into the game, Ariel Iliana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Rene Tristan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Matthew to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's zone, Ariel Iliana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Tristan came out of the goal and Ariel Iliana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Horacio Xabier came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Stronghold S.A fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Xabier couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Stronghold S.A's Horacio Xabier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rene Tristan. Rene Tristan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Zacarias Erasto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stronghold S.A's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Erasto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Tristan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Ariel Iliana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stronghold S.A fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. Gaston Matthew charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Matthew the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stronghold S.A getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ariel Iliana hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Everardo Vela dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rene Tristan, 1-9. In the 89th minute, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ariel Iliana fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ariel Iliana scored 1-10 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rene Tristan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Angelo Crescencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stronghold S.A's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
