An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Mateus in the 6th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edoardo Cabrini's late challenge caught a Sarmiento de Resistencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edoardo Cabrini helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Valdieri's Edoardo Cabrini got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 12th minute, Basilio Mateus fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aurelio Di Lullo, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Franco Sarnelli hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Otávio Sarmento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sarmiento de Resistencia reached it. Benigno Manilan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Attilio Fortunato's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Siro Elazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Di Lullo should have stopped the shot. Elia Cicchini charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elia Cicchini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sarmiento de Resistencia booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Cicchini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Attilio Fortunato kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Siro Elazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Mateus in the 34th minute of play. Siro Elazar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Aurelio Di Lullo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Siro Elazar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Edoardo Cabrini hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When Siro Elazar came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Sarmiento de Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siro Elazar couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Attilio Fortunato made the kick off in the second half. When Otávio Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarmiento de Resistencia's protests and gave Otávio Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Valdieri booed when Sarmiento de Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otávio Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Mateus in the 61st minute of play. Benigno Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Fortunato, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 68th match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Elazar to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute of the match, Attilio Fortunato tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benigno Manilan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 80th minute Siro Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Elazar in the 82nd minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Mateus struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Aurelio Di Lullo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento de Resistencia. 93 minutes into the game, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Siro Elazar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Di Lullo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. If Basilio Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Sarmiento de Resistencia were the better team. Sarmiento de Resistencia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
