An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Sundberg in the 7th minute of play forced Atlético Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Celso Lonzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Roldan hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Alfons Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Lonzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Burni's late challenge caught a AC Mayonnaise's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guido Burni helped the player get up and apologised. Sune Lidberg's shot from long distance in the 11th minute was not bad at all, but Atlético Rio Cuarto's Celso Lonzo knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Enzo Godoy charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enzo Godoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Enzo Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. With a little luck, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Celso Lonzo got control of the ball when Konrad Bergström tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, AC Mayonnaise's Konrad Bergström got a free kick in the 15th minute. 21 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Benvide came free, but Valdemar Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Benvide had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valdemar Jönsson. AC Mayonnaise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eleuterio Benvide was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to AC Mayonnaise getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Alfons Sundberg hit a great ball. Valdemar Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Deunoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Valdemar Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Liher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético Rio Cuarto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Astor Liher in the 35th minute. The corner led Atlético Rio Cuarto's Claudio Urbasa to fire away a dangerous shot which Valdemar Jönsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Atlético Rio Cuarto booed when AC Mayonnaise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell-Arne Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC Mayonnaise's Valdemar Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Liher in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Liher in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Jönsson saved AC Mayonnaise from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Eleuterio Benvide managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Rio Cuarto's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Benvide was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Jönsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kjell-Arne Lindberg charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfons Sundberg to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astor Liher got free with Valdemar Jönsson in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valdemar Jönsson made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Astor Liher sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute Eleuterio Benvide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Benvide cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Valdemar Jönsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 61 played minutes Atlético Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Godoy. After recieving a nice pass, AC Mayonnaise's Sune Lidberg tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Celso Lonzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Arne Ödman in the 67th minute of play. Konrad Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Celso Lonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Claudio Urbasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdemar Jönsson made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Astor Liher sent off a good shot on target. Valdemar Jönsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Benvide in the 88th minute of the match. Alfons Sundberg hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
