In the 37th minute, Astor Liher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cacá Breckenfeld was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Osmar Abraão lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of OTTO FC - FSCMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atlético Rio Cuarto:s goal. Astor Liher walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Cacá Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Benvide in the 45th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Orlondon during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eleuterio Benvide to make the kick off. Astor Liher took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cacá Breckenfeld. Cacá Breckenfeld dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Deunoro in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cacá Breckenfeld saved OTTO FC - FSCMZ from getting behind. Claudio Urbasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Cacá Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes OTTO FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Dé Mattos. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Astor Liher got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Deunoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cacá Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Deunoro in the 81st minute of play. Claudio Urbasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cacá Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dudu Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cacá Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Deunoro in the 87th minute of the match. Eleuterio Benvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Celso Lonzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Rio Cuarto from getting a goal against them. Astor Liher kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Atlético Rio Cuarto's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
