The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Tande in the 5th minute of play forced The Gunners's goalkeeper Dennis Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cacá Breckenfeld proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save OTTO FC - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. The Gunners's Benjamin Tunander got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cacá Breckenfeld made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Ahlbeck in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, The Gunners's Pontus Berglund got a free kick in the 45th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Pontus Berglund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cacá Breckenfeld. That made the score 3-0 in the 48 minute of play.

Benjamin Tunander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to OTTO FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Zé Loureiro hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Tunander in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cacá Breckenfeld saved OTTO FC - FSCMZ from getting behind. Magne Larsson lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Magne Larsson hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Dudu Rossi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dennis Wallin having to make a save. A collision led to The Gunners getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Andreas Ahlbeck hit a great ball. Cacá Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Tunander in the 80th minute of the match. Stig Norström hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Dedê Travassos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Dennis Wallin made a huge save. In the 83rd minute, Pontus Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Tunander came free, but Cacá Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Wiktor Bergqvist heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Andreas Ahlbeck struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Cacá Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Gunners.
