Atlético Rio Cuarto's attack was well implemented in the 39th minute, but when Eleuterio Benvide was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Osvaldo Orlondon charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Cascade Park West booed when Atlético Rio Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Bloom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Urbasa in the 46th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Charles Knapp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Eleuterio Benvide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eleuterio Benvide to make the kick off. Charles Knapp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Angelo Deunoro scored 4-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles Knapp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Astor Liher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute Angelo Deunoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Knapp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Atlético Rio Cuarto's Astor Liher in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
