If Kauan Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Gino Brito made a huge save. Gino Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Pena in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bezerros EC's Edinho Corrêa got a free kick in the 29th minute. Severino Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Gino Brito made a huge save. A collision led to Bezerros EC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Vágner Cunha hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, Clube Atlético Paulista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Pena to maneuver through the defense. Severino Soares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gino Brito came out and tried to block the shot, but Severino Soares slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute, Severino Soares made a precise shot to the right of Gino Brito. Bezerros EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Alfredinho Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovânio Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Corrêa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Kauan Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Severino Soares notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Bezerros EC's Gino Brito. Gino Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Paulo Massa hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute Marquinhos Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisinho Massa's late challenge caught a Clube Atlético Paulista's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisinho Massa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bezerros EC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Luisinho Massa hit a great ball. Severino Soares took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gino Brito. Gino Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 74th minute Marquinhos Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Gustavo Corrêa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kauan Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauan Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Clube Atlético Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Guerra. In the 81st minute, Eliézer Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Severino Soares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Atlético Paulista fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 94 minutes into the match, Bezerros EC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Soares came free, but Gino Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clube Atlético Paulista fully deserved thier win.
