After taking down the ball on Clube Atlético Paulista's corner Eduardo Cabral fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Charles Knapp quite easily take care of the ball. Charles Knapp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Soares in the 17th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Soares got free with Charles Knapp in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charles Knapp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Pena in the 23rd minute of play. Alfredinho Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommie Ragsdale in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Pena came free, but Charles Knapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Severino Soares sped through Cascade Park West's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Charles Knapp. Charles Knapp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Severino Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atlético Paulista's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Knapp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cascade Park West's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eduardo Cabral was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube Atlético Paulista's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Marquinhos Pena advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 38th minute. Charles Knapp was a little too slow when Marquinhos Pena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-0. 45 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Tommie Ragsdale came free, but Alfredinho Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cascade Park West's Charles Knapp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Pena in the 70th minute of play. After 75 minutes, Severino Soares made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cascade Park West's Charles Knapp tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Clube Atlético Paulista's Lucas Martínez was substituted for Manfredo Cerezo. After 80 minutes, Pedrinho Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atlético Paulista and the Cascade Park West players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Paulo Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Clube Atlético Paulista's Alfredinho Velloso got control of the ball when Tommie Ragsdale tried to sneak it across the goal line. There was no doubt that Clube Atlético Paulista were the better team. Clube Atlético Paulista's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
