Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Fernando Vergílio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, OTTO FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Lara to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 4 minutes, Marius Măgură managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fanaticii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Măgură was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Zotincă got free with Cacá Breckenfeld in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charles Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Giurcă having to make a save. When Mugurel Bărăian fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Fanaticii's protests and gave Mugurel Bărăian a yellow card for diving instead. Mugurel Bărăian kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Fernando Vergílio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Fanaticii's Emanuel Giurcă. Emanuel Giurcă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 36 played minutes FC Fanaticii got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Tomoioagă. In the 38th minute, Caco de Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Cornel Tomoioagă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Fanaticii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OTTO FC - FSCMZ the free kick. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Fanaticii! After the first half OTTO FC - FSCMZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costică Brănet made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, FC Fanaticii's Șerban Nanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cacá Breckenfeld made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luisinho Tróia struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Emanuel Giurcă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OTTO FC - FSCMZ. The supporters of OTTO FC - FSCMZ booed when FC Fanaticii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Brănet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Șerban Nanu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Nichifor Iliuță's late challenge caught a OTTO FC - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nichifor Iliuță helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Fanaticii's Nichifor Iliuță got a free kick in the 68th minute. With a little luck, FC Fanaticii's Emanuel Giurcă got control of the ball when Fernando Vergílio tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 74 in the game by Fernando Vergílio from a close distance when the talented Emanuel Giurcă managed to make a qualified save. FC Fanaticii's players were relieved. Emanuel Giurcă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Vergílio in the 79th minute of the match. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cacá Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Brănet in the 82nd minute of play. Charles Lara got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 83rd minute, Charles Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cacá Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Șerban Nanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 92nd match minute, OTTO FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisinho Tróia to maneuver through the defense. Costică Brănet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Breckenfeld having to interfere. OTTO FC - FSCMZ played a much better game than FC Fanaticii and deserved their victory. The FC Fanaticii players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
