Matías Cavalcante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Alkestis Stasinopoulos made a huge save. In the 16th match minute, FC Stadtclub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jochen Ziegler to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Stadtclub booed when Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Reis made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Fausto Batista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Stadtclub the free kick. Fausto Batista hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. João Francisco Xavier's late challenge caught a FC Stadtclub's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Francisco Xavier helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Stadtclub booed when Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Jochen Ziegler put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sandro Soares. Alkestis Stasinopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco Xavier in the 66th minute of play. During the 79th minute of the match João Francisco Xavier completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave João Francisco Xavier a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gibson Dürst's late challenge caught a Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gibson Dürst helped the player get up and apologised. Gibson Dürst kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Eduardo Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Robinho Siqueira got a free kick in the 88th minute. Sandro Soares came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Stadtclub's Carlos Dufresne. But to his dismay, Carlos Dufresne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. If Matías Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Stadtclub supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Stadtclub would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
