When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Vladimiros Lagonikakis put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Didi Gonçalves. Didi Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Babbis Giannas in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimiros Lagonikakis in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didi Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Nagrand's Gabriel Laycock got a free kick in the 10th minute. Babbis Giannas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Didi Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Didi Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiros Lagonikakis in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Vladimiros Lagonikakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Didi Gonçalves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 22 minutes into the game, Vladimiros Lagonikakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Didi Gonçalves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giorgos Parmezanas hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Vladimiros Lagonikakis in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nagrand's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Liverpool F.C. YNWA defense, Didi Kool kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiros Kaklamanakos. The Liverpool F.C. YNWA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiros Kaklamanakos should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute Stamatis Lallos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Stamatis Lallos got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With an all-out effort, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Didi Gonçalves threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stamatis Lallos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Vladimiros Kaklamanakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Kool in the 55th minute of play. Didi Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamatis Lallos in the 61st minute of the match. Vladimiros Lagonikakis's late challenge caught a Nagrand's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimiros Lagonikakis helped the player get up and apologised. Didi Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiros Lagonikakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69thth minute of the game Vladimiros Lagonikakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nagrand's Didi Gonçalves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's goal looked a bit too open when Didi Kool came free, but Vladimiros Kaklamanakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zak Choy hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Babbis Giannas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute Gabriel Laycock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiros Kaklamanakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. YNWA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
