In the 6th minute, Volkan Lolić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chelsea Brudzew fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 13 played minutes Chelsea Brudzew got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Basinski. Victor de Jong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jaroslaw Basinski charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaroslaw Basinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitchell Terpstra in the 24th minute of play forced Chelsea Brudzew's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Kuszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes De Ontembare Leeuwen got a freekick which was hit by Dries Zevenhuizen. 30 minutes into the game, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Koos Staal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaroslaw Kuszczak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Koos Staal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaroslaw Kuszczak. Chelsea Brudzew's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Koos Staal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dries Zevenhuizen during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Volkan Lolić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea Brudzew's supporters rose to their feet, but Volkan Lolić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Sibon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st match minute, De Ontembare Leeuwen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfred Tollenaar to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Chelsea Brudzew's goal looked a bit too open when Rein Uebels came free, but Jaroslaw Kuszczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Chelsea Brudzew getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jaroslaw Basinski hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Adrian Lucila made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Mitchell Terpstra got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After some careless play in the De Ontembare Leeuwen defense, Volkan Lolić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Sibon. The De Ontembare Leeuwen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Sibon should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Wilfred Tollenaar got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rein Uebels in the 63rd minute of play forced Chelsea Brudzew's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Kuszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Koos Staal got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaroslaw Kuszczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rein Uebels in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Chelsea Brudzew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Biskupiak to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Victor de Jong broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Rein Uebels kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jaroslaw Kuszczak. That made the score 2-3 in the 73 minute of play. In the 76th minute, Sander Spoel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jaroslaw Kuszczak. The goal made the score 2-4. Wilfred Tollenaar scored 2-5 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaroslaw Kuszczak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilfred Tollenaar hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Adrian Lucila, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 91st minute, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Dries Zevenhuizen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dries Zevenhuizen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of De Ontembare Leeuwen protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dries Zevenhuizen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for De Ontembare Leeuwen! De Ontembare Leeuwen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
