Spectators: 7537 (Terracing: 5654, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) De Ontembare Leeuwen's Rinus Ronde started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jan Sibon came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Vladimiros Lagonikakis. But to his dismay, Vladimiros Lagonikakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, De Ontembare Leeuwen's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiros Lagonikakis came free, but Jan Sibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niek Kramer struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Vrasidas Bolos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Ontembare Leeuwen. 12 minutes into the match, Babbis Giannas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Sibon. De Ontembare Leeuwen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Babbis Giannas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Babbis Giannas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Vrasidas Bolos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rinus Ronde in the 18th minute of play. After taking down the ball on De Ontembare Leeuwen's corner Victor de Jong fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vrasidas Bolos quite easily take care of the ball. Jan Sibon came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Vladimiros Lagonikakis. But to his dismay, Vladimiros Lagonikakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Vrasidas Bolos made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Rinus Ronde sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute, Babbis Giannas made a precise shot to the right of Jan Sibon. De Ontembare Leeuwen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. With an all-out effort, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Vrasidas Bolos threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niek Kramer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Jan Sibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiros Lagonikakis in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Vladimiros Kaklamanakos made a precise shot to the right of Jan Sibon. De Ontembare Leeuwen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The De Ontembare Leeuwen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Liverpool F.C. YNWA were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimiros Lagonikakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Liverpool F.C. YNWA getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Stratos Ververis hit a great ball. Jan Sibon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladimiros Lagonikakis in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the match, De Ontembare Leeuwen's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiros Lagonikakis came free, but Jan Sibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiros Lagonikakis in the 63rd minute of play forced De Ontembare Leeuwen's goalkeeper Jan Sibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, De Ontembare Leeuwen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niek Kramer to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the De Ontembare Leeuwen defense, Vladimiros Lagonikakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Sibon. The De Ontembare Leeuwen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Sibon should have stopped the shot. Jan Sibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takis Michaloliakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giorgos Parmezanas hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Mitchell Terpstra fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Ontembare Leeuwen's protests and gave Mitchell Terpstra a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute Takis Michaloliakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Sibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Sibon acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aimilios Iordanidis. After 87 minutes De Ontembare Leeuwen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Babbis Giannas who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Vladimiros Kaklamanakos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but De Ontembare Leeuwen's Jan Sibon did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimiros Lagonikakis got free with Jan Sibon in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Mitchell Terpstra came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the De Ontembare Leeuwen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mitchell Terpstra couldn't finish the play. The Liverpool F.C. YNWA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Liverpool F.C. YNWA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
