Prometeo Perpiñán hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Armando Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Prieto having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prometeo Perpiñán in the 8th minute of play forced Acilia Town's goalkeeper Camillo Sciotto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Prometeo Perpiñán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Acilia Town's Armando Villa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fidel Prieto. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. If Armando Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Winehouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Vodka Stars 1949 booed when Acilia Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Baruffa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Andreas Winehouse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camillo Sciotto was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Acilia Town's Camillo Sciotto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Winehouse in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Braulio Martínez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vodka Stars 1949's Bazil Rubio got a free kick in the 38th minute. The audience was convinced that Andreas Winehouse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camillo Sciotto was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Acilia Town's Damiano Castagna was substituted for Ettore Valeriani. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andreas Winehouse to make the kick off. In the 69th minute, Eugenio Marsilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Vodka Stars 1949 booed when Acilia Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Baruffa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Braulio Martínez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vodka Stars 1949's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Martínez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camillo Sciotto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute Armando Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Prieto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Enrico De Lorenzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Prometeo Perpiñán came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Vodka Stars 1949 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prometeo Perpiñán couldn't finish the play. Camillo Sciotto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bazil Rubio in the 83rd minute of play. Fidel Prieto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damiano Castagna in the 86th minute of play. Bazil Rubio's late challenge caught a Acilia Town's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bazil Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Bazil Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Camillo Sciotto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Acilia Town's Amedeo Mazza in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vodka Stars 1949's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amedeo Mazza in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Prieto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fidel Prieto came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Acilia Town's Amedeo Mazza. But to his dismay, Amedeo Mazza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Acilia Town fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vodka Stars 1949 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
