Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Laércio Alvarenga kicked off to start the match. Armando Villa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arlindo Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Fabio Baruffa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Arlindo Meireles made a huge save. Acilia Town's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabio Baruffa in the 6th minute. When Fabio Baruffa came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Acilia Town fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Baruffa couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Ettore Valeriani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Fernando Rocha in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camillo Sciotto saved Acilia Town from getting behind. Camillo Sciotto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Fabio Baruffa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Meireles having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acilia Town's goalkeeper Camillo Sciotto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Laércio Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Sciotto having to interfere. When Laércio Alvarenga fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xurupita FC's protests and gave Laércio Alvarenga a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Xurupita FC got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Alvarenga. Laércio Alvarenga hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Acilia Town's Camillo Sciotto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frédson Donato in the 29th minute of play. Armando Teodori's late challenge caught a Xurupita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Teodori helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Armando Teodori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Acilia Town's Enrico De Lorenzi got a free kick in the 39th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Camillo Sciotto made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Frédson Donato sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Acilia Town's Armando Villa got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Castagna in the 61st minute of play forced Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Arlindo Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Enrico De Lorenzi came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Acilia Town fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrico De Lorenzi couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Arlindo Meireles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frédson Donato got free with Camillo Sciotto in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Acilia Town's Amedeo Mazza was substituted for Armando Villa. Carlos Fernando Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camillo Sciotto having to make a save. After 83 played minutes Acilia Town got a freekick which was hit by Armando Teodori. The long shot by Frédson Donato in the 84th minute really tested Camillo Sciotto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Laércio Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Camillo Sciotto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Carlos Fernando Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xurupita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Fernando Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camillo Sciotto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
