William Luz hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. David Vale hit a great ball. Jhon Barcellos kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 16th minute when Mustafa Hamit Afgan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Anísio Paiva sent off a good shot on target. After 22 played minutes ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Tenória. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Hamit Afgan in the 25th minute of play. Dedé Mazer kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Nuno Tenória had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Hamit Afgan in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antônio Carlos Cavalcante saved Palestra do Interior from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Cavalcante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anísio Paiva. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ulysses Neto hit a great ball. Ulysses Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Nuno Tenória shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mustafa Hamit Afgan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆'s goalkeeper İzzettin Özak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafim Simão got free with İzzettin Özak in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆'s Mustafa Hamit Afgan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 90th minute, Ramiz Karaeski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ☆☆Pαbɭó Escóbαr☆☆ fully deserved thier win.
