Thiago Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan De Mitri having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Vinicio De Mitri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz got control of the ball when Silvestre De Mitri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Airborne FC from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute, Clemente Ciano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diamantino de Queiroz. The goal made the score 1-0. Nippur de Lagash 2's Jonathan De Mitri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Terra in the 14th minute of play. Jonathan De Mitri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hélio Terra went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 16 played minutes Nippur de Lagash 2 got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Madeo. If Thiago Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Silvestre De Mitri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nippur de Lagash 2's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre De Mitri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th match minute, Nippur de Lagash 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Ciano to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Percival de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre De Mitri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diamantino de Queiroz came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvestre De Mitri slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 44th minute. Thiago Tande charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago Tande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Nippur de Lagash 2 booed when Airborne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélio Terra to make the kick off. Clemente Ciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute of the match, Thiago Tande got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan De Mitri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 63rd match minute, Airborne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Severo to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Clemente Ciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre De Mitri in the 66th minute of play. Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Ciano in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Ciano came free, but Diamantino de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Silvestre De Mitri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nippur de Lagash 2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. The supporters of Nippur de Lagash 2 booed when Airborne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Eriberto Aragones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 87 played minutes, Nippur de Lagash 2's Cleto Madeo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diamantino de Queiroz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nippur de Lagash 2 reached it. Jonathan De Mitri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Terra in the 90th minute of play. Nippur de Lagash 2 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Airborne FC for a fine match.
