With his leg Folmar Dandanell managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Illuminati's Leszek Piglowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 18 played minutes Hønning got a freekick which was hit by Eskild Krossla. Folmar Dandanell made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Benedykt Zuraw sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute of the match Illuminati got a corner. Hønning's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lech Kaczynski ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lech Kaczynski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Folmar Dandanell quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 26th minute, Tomasz Zworski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Illuminati's Leszek Piglowski in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hønning's goalie prevented a goal. Wiktor Ciborek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Schivy went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Wiktor Ciborek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eberhardt Næsager's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Harry Bøndorff charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Hønning's Eskild Krossla got a free kick in the 36th minute. Folmar Dandanell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Kaczynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, Ulrik Wieder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Wiktor Ciborek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Hønning were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eberhardt Næsager stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd match minute, Hønning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Haugsted to maneuver through the defense. Harry Bøndorff was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Folmar Dandanell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Piglowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Lech Kaczynski struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Folmar Dandanell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Illuminati. In the 77th minute Eberhardt Næsager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Ciborek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eberhardt Næsager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Wiktor Ciborek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Hønning booed when Illuminati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Bykowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hønning getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ulrik Wieder hit a great ball. Hønning's Folmar Dandanell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Piglowski in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Illuminati booed when Hønning was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eskild Krossla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lech Kaczynski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Hønning left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Illuminati.
