Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Camilo Palben started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goal looked a bit too open when Leo Tximitx came free, but Edgardo Kinsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes, Jonas Argider made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Edgardo Kinsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Palben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Hernan Eudoxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Agustin Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Kinsen came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Locura Académica's Leo Tximitx. But to his dismay, Leo Tximitx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Godfredo Sotero was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Aurelio Tristan hit a great ball. Gerardo Rufo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Edgardo Kinsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Locura Académica's Jonas Argider got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celedonio Mundo to make the kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Jonas Argider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Locura Académica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Argider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Elvio Ariando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gerardo Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Argider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celedonio Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Edgardo Kinsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Cipriano Martino got a free kick in the 74th minute. Locura Académica's Hernan Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Urbez in the 85th minute of play. Gerardo Rufo came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgardo Kinsen could save by the left post. Hernan Eudoxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Palben in the 94th minute of play. Locura Académica's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
