The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edgar Gejda came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Ballester FC's Tomás Clementi. But to his dismay, Tomás Clementi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Anacleto Ebardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezary Trac in the 7th minute of play. Miroslaw Walentowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 19th play minutes Tomás Clementi shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Edgar Gejda and just under the crossbar into goal. Anacleto Ebardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Soroka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anacleto Ebardo made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Bernard Sierocki sent off a good shot on target. After 46 played minutes Villa Ballester FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Rafe. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julio Emmanuel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomás Clementi hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 56 minutes of play, Villa Ballester FC's Tomás Clementi made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Gejda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jan Soroka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Anacleto Ebardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Villa Ballester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Trac came free, but Anacleto Ebardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Gejda was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Tomás Clementi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomás Clementi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Trac in the 80th minute of play forced Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Ebardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, one of Villa Ballester FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Villa Ballester FC. Villa Ballester FC:s Anacleto Ebardo showed great skill when he stopped Jedrzej Andrzejewski:s penalty. The excitement rose when REAL BIAŁYSTOK C.F.'s Jedrzej Andrzejewski after 100 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-4. The Villa Ballester FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villa Ballester FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
