After a rather tough play, Canarinho Atordoado's Jeremias de Mendonça got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After some careless play in the Canarinho Atordoado defense, Leo Tximitx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elivélton Carvalho. The Canarinho Atordoado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elivélton Carvalho should have stopped the shot. Leo Tximitx received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elivélton Carvalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Leo Tximitx slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Jonas Argider recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elivélton Carvalho. Jonas Argider showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 21st minute, Santiago Guillelmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Locura Académica booed when Canarinho Atordoado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Celedonio Mundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Locura Académica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Luís Gustavo Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elivélton Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Argider in the 35th minute of play. A hard shot 39 in the game by Leo Tximitx from a close distance when the talented Elivélton Carvalho managed to make a qualified save. Canarinho Atordoado's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Leo Tximitx put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Elivélton Carvalho. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henri Martins to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Jonas Argider notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Canarinho Atordoado's Elivélton Carvalho. Elivélton Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Canarinho Atordoado defense, Leo Tximitx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elivélton Carvalho. The Canarinho Atordoado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elivélton Carvalho should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute Leo Tximitx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elivélton Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Tximitx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elivélton Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Tximitx in the 61st minute of play. Jonas Argider took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elivélton Carvalho. Elivélton Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. After a rather tough play, Canarinho Atordoado's Guga Pernambucano got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Canarinho Atordoado's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Firmo came free, but Elivélton Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Tximitx took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elivélton Carvalho. Elivélton Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. In the 72nd minute, Leo Tximitx made a precise shot to the right of Elivélton Carvalho. Canarinho Atordoado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. 79 minutes into the match, Gerardo Rufo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elivélton Carvalho. Canarinho Atordoado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerardo Rufo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. Elivélton Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Argider, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the game, Locura Académica's Leo Tximitx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elivélton Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. In the 90th minute Jonas Argider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Mundo in the 91st minute of play forced Canarinho Atordoado's goalkeeper Elivélton Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Locura Académica fully deserved thier win.
