With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anacleto Ebardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the match, Eleven Nation Army's goalkeeper Ted Igelström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saverio Beat. Villa Ballester FC's Anacleto Ebardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Kjellman in the 19th minute of play. Anacleto Ebardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Villa Ballester FC defense, Per-Olof Brandt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anacleto Ebardo. The Villa Ballester FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anacleto Ebardo should have stopped the shot. Julio Emmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Igelström having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Per-Olof Brandt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anacleto Ebardo. Villa Ballester FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per-Olof Brandt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Anacleto Ebardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Olof Brandt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anacleto Ebardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivar Ståhlman went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Olof Kjellman in the 39th minute of play forced Villa Ballester FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Ebardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Villa Ballester FC were furious when Alejandro Preda was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Olof Kjellman made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, Villa Ballester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Efraim to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Eleven Nation Army:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Villa Ballester FC:s goal. Ted Igelström had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Julio Emmanuel's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Julio Emmanuel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ted Igelström. Eleven Nation Army's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Emmanuel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Villa Ballester FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Per-Olof Brandt scored to the left of an out of position Anacleto Ebardo, making the score, 1-7. After 70 played minutes Villa Ballester FC got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Galtero. 75 minutes into the match, Jan-Olof Kjellman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anacleto Ebardo, 1-9. After 80 minutes, Joakim Granberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eleven Nation Army and the Villa Ballester FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joakim Granberg hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ted Igelström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Beat in the 84th minute of play. Anacleto Ebardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Olof Kjellman went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-10 was the resulting score. Jan-Olof Kjellmans short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Anacleto Ebardo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eleven Nation Army's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
