The referee showed Luiz Fábio Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Martins in the 57th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Edgardo Kinsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Canarinho Atordoado had played much better football throughout.
