HHH's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Hamdi Tunçaslan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boban Bobek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jiří Smolík in the 16th minute. Ramazan Eygül came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s Ferdinand Pěnčík. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Pěnčík quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ramazan Eygül showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Hurt, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Karel Volejník hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gani Kahveci received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Boban Bobek came out and tried to block the shot, but Gani Kahveci slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 29th minute. The supporters of ⚽Aston Punat⚽ booed when HHH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nihat Tokuşhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Pěnčík notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of HHH's Ramazan Eygül. Ramazan Eygül was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gani Kahveci in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boban Bobek saved ⚽Aston Punat⚽ from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Ferdinand Pěnčík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. HHH's Ramazan Eygül played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Pěnčík in the 41st minute of play. Nihat Tokuşhan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The ⚽Aston Punat⚽ fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s Norbert Hurt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The HHH players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ⚽Aston Punat⚽ were winning 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdinand Pěnčík stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Hamdi Tunçaslan in the 52nd minute of play forced ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s goalkeeper Boban Bobek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hüsrev Kutam took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Boban Bobek. ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 68th minute Ferdinand Pěnčík shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramazan Eygül saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Pěnčík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramazan Eygül having to interfere. After 76 played minutes HHH got a freekick which was hit by Hüsnü Murat. The ⚽Aston Punat⚽ fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s Norbert Hurt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 84 minutes into the match, ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Hamdi Tunçaslan came free, but Boban Bobek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 played minutes HHH got a freekick which was hit by Birsel Kulan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gani Kahveci in the 95th minute of play forced ⚽Aston Punat⚽'s goalkeeper Boban Bobek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ⚽Aston Punat⚽ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ⚽Aston Punat⚽ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
