Boguslaw Falk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Nogueira having to interfere. The referee ignored S O B E R A N O CIMZ's protests and gave Renato Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cyryl Liberko charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 50th minute, Krzysztof Biskupiak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute, Mateusz Wojtkiewicz made a precise shot to the right of Dagoberto Nogueira. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Cauan Penha's late challenge caught a Skarpa Ełk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 71 minutes, Gil Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S O B E R A N O CIMZ and the Skarpa Ełk players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Skarpa Ełk defense, Gil Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jedrzej Grucza. The Skarpa Ełk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jedrzej Grucza should have stopped the shot. Dagoberto Nogueira was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Krzysztof Biskupiak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Krzysztof Biskupiak really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5.
