After 4 played minutes Los Muchachos del 86 got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Birjaio. 6 minutes into the game, Sergio Birjaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Muchachos del 86's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Furia Calamar the free kick. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Sergio Birjaio hit a great ball. When Delmar Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Furia Calamar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Duarte couldn't finish the play. Ramiro Erasto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmar Duarte's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Pastor Botello hit a great ball. Camilo Marin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Ramiro Erasto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sergio Birjaio hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Santo Blanco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damaso Panfilo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Generoso Abreu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Delmar Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Sergio Birjaio hit a great ball. Lionel Picco kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Damaso Panfilo came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Muchachos del 86's Joel Pabla. But to his dismay, Joel Pabla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Damaso Panfilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Pabla in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Erubiel Matthew left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Furia Calamar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Erubiel Matthew's late challenge caught a Los Muchachos del 86's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Matthew helped the player get up and apologised. Erubiel Matthew kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Furia Calamar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Muchachos del 86 were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Camilo Marin made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Delmar Duarte notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto. Ramiro Erasto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the game, Delmar Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Ramiro Erasto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Furia Calamar's Herminio Semeno was substituted for Erubiel Matthew. In the 68th minute Camilo Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Erasto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Delmar Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Ramiro Erasto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Delmar Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Furia Calamar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Duarte couldn't finish the play. Delmar Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ramiro Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damaso Panfilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Pabla in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st minute Camilo Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Erasto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Duarte in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Erasto saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. Furia Calamar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
