Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ronny Felich kicked off to start the match. Eric Allison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Holst in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, Poli Timisoara's Torben Scherrer got control of the ball when Jonathon Ryder tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toby Harris got free with Torben Scherrer in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathon Ryder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Torben Scherrer made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Torben Scherrer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathon Ryder. When Jochen Frohlich fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poli Timisoara's protests and gave Jochen Frohlich a yellow card for diving instead. Jochen Frohlich kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Torben Scherrer made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Toby Harris sent off a good shot on target. Torben Scherrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobby Baxter in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Jonathon Ryder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beech United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Jochen Frohlich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th match minute, Beech United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis Dobbs to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes Poli Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Robin Wörns. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toby Harris got free with Torben Scherrer in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torben Scherrer made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jonathon Ryder sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Robin Wörns got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Torben Scherrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fitz Potterton in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathon Ryder came free, but Torben Scherrer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronny Felich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Allison having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Sven Holst fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eric Allison, passed just outside the right post. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Ronny Felich got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 70 minutes into the game, Robin Pluta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poli Timisoara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beech United the free kick. In the 70th minute, Robin Pluta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd match minute, Poli Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jochen Frohlich to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Toby Harris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torben Scherrer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Welch came free, but Torben Scherrer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Ian Frost in the 80th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Poli Timisoara's Sebastian Gehlen. In the 84th match minute, Poli Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Felich to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Welch came free, but Torben Scherrer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bobby Baxter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beech United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
