Spectators: 7469 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wanderson Cerezo started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Los Muchachos del 86 booed when Família Ressaca MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wanderson Cerezo in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Erasto saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Joel Pabla got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ramiro Erasto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wanderson Cerezo's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. If Erubiel Presebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 minutes, Wanderson Cerezo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramiro Erasto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wanderson Cerezo in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Erasto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Raul Gonçalves got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ramiro Erasto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wanderson Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Erasto having to interfere. Erubiel Presebal charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erubiel Presebal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Pabla to strike the kick off in the second half. When Tales Salles came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Família Ressaca MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tales Salles couldn't finish the play. Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Salles in the 57th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Tales Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fábio Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Pabla, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Wanderson Cerezo took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Erasto. Ramiro Erasto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. The audience was convinced that Wanderson Cerezo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiro Erasto was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wanderson Cerezo in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Erasto saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. With a little luck, Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto got control of the ball when Raul Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 81st play minutes Wanderson Cerezo shot 1-7, a short shot which went by Ramiro Erasto and just under the crossbar into goal. After 89 minutes, Wanderson Cerezo made it 1-9 with a short kick to the right side. Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wanderson Cerezo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Ramiro Erasto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Família Ressaca MZ played a much better game than Los Muchachos del 86 and deserved their victory. The Los Muchachos del 86 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
