Joel Pabla started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Los Muchachos del 86 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Blanco to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Erasto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Art Ziegler in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Pieter Montechiaro made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Erasto. Los Muchachos del 86's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Sinclair Vonrotz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Rägi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Muchachos del 86 the free kick. In the 12th minute, Sinclair Vonrotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Muchachos del 86's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pieter Montechiaro was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Rägi's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Rägi's corner Pieter Montechiaro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ramiro Erasto quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Rägi's Isai Emmeneger got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute Joel Pabla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Allemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Rägi's Uwe Allemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Pabla in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Pabla in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Rägi's goalkeeper Uwe Allemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pieter Montechiaro fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Rägi's protests and gave Pieter Montechiaro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Rägi's Pieter Montechiaro got a free kick in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Art Ziegler during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Art Ziegler hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Joel Pabla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uwe Allemann was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Joel Pabla struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Uwe Allemann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Muchachos del 86. With 36 minutes on the clock, Generoso Abreu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Generoso Abreu hit a great ball. FC Rägi's Pieter Montechiaro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Muchachos del 86. In the 41stth minute of the game Pieter Montechiaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 45 played minutes Los Muchachos del 86 got a freekick which was hit by Justo Licerio. Alajos Kaiser kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Blanco in the 47th minute of play forced FC Rägi's goalkeeper Uwe Allemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

FC Rägi's Andre Gerber was substituted for Tizian Figini. FC Rägi's Maxi Blattmer was substituted for Isai Emmeneger. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pieter Montechiaro made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Santo Blanco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Uwe Allemann was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ramiro Erasto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter Montechiaro in the 55th minute of the match. Ramiro Erasto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastien Theissl in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pieter Montechiaro in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Erasto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Erubiel Presebal hit a great ball. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Muchachos del 86's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pieter Montechiaro was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Rägi's players had a chance to rest. Pieter Montechiaro made a great header on FC Rägi's corner, it was just that Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 76th minute, Ricardo Ordono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter Montechiaro in the 77th minute of play. FC Rägi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pieter Montechiaro in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Rägi booed when Los Muchachos del 86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Blanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramiro Erasto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pieter Montechiaro's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Ramiro Erasto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter Montechiaro in the 93rd minute of the match. If Bastien Theissl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Muchachos del 86 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Rägi.
