Spectators: 7582 (Terracing: 5687, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alejandro Chano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fábio Meirelles came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Platense es de Primera!!'s Dionisio Cidro. But to his dismay, Dionisio Cidro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th minute, one of Platense es de Primera!!:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Platense es de Primera!!. The goalkeeper, Serafino Tabb, was totally fooled by Família Ressaca MZ's Raul Gonçalves, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Família Ressaca MZ's Fábio Meirelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Cidro in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Cidro came free, but Fábio Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Família Ressaca MZ's Fábio Meirelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Eguen in the 28th minute of play. When Dionisio Cidro came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Platense es de Primera!! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Cidro couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Dionisio Cidro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fábio Meirelles was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Anacleto Eguen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fábio Meirelles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Ivan Lugo kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wanderson Cerezo to make the kick off. Fábio Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Cidro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Platense es de Primera!! booed when Família Ressaca MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th match minute, Família Ressaca MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Platense es de Primera!!'s Dionisio Cidro got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 61 played minutes, Família Ressaca MZ's Raul Gonçalves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Serafino Tabb came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Família Ressaca MZ reached it. 64 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper Fábio Meirelles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Eguen. Serafino Tabb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wanderson Cerezo's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 68 minutes, Wanderson Cerezo made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Platense es de Primera!!'s Serafino Tabb tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Gonçalves in the 71st minute of play forced Platense es de Primera!!'s goalkeeper Serafino Tabb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fábio Meirelles made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Anacleto Eguen sent off a good shot on target. After 82 minutes, Durval de Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Família Ressaca MZ and the Platense es de Primera!! players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fábio Meirelles acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alejandro Chano. Fábio Meirelles was a little too slow when Dionisio Cidro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
