With a little luck, F.C Un dia de partit's Gandolfo Sánchez got control of the ball when Ronaldo Martínez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Delmar Duarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C Un dia de partit's Gandolfo Sánchez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, F.C Un dia de partit's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Martínez came free, but Gandolfo Sánchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Playo Vazquez in the 46th minute of play forced Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Damaso Panfilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Marin was the one to do the kick off. Playo Vazquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damaso Panfilo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Playo Vazquez ran back to his position shaking his head. Damaso Panfilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Playo Vazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gandolfo Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Martínez in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Furia Calamar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Matthew to maneuver through the defense.
