Spectators: 7598 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) Camilo Marin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Damaso Panfilo came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Família Ressaca MZ's Wanderson Cerezo. But to his dismay, Wanderson Cerezo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Furia Calamar's Damaso Panfilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Cerezo in the 7th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Furia Calamar's Erubiel Matthew slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fábio Meirelles. That made the score 1-1 after 14 minutes of play. Ronaldo Martínez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Fábio Meirelles made a huge save. In the 18th match minute, Furia Calamar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Hug to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th match minute, Furia Calamar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Martínez to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Família Ressaca MZ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Wanderson Cerezo hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes Família Ressaca MZ got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Tróia. The Família Ressaca MZ fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Família Ressaca MZ's Tales Salles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 36th minute Ronaldo Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wanderson Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronaldo Martínez kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Wanderson Cerezo made a precise shot to the right of Damaso Panfilo. Furia Calamar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Fernando Maciel hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. A collision led to Família Ressaca MZ getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Fernando Maciel hit a great ball. Fábio Meirelles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horacio Behe in the 49th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wanderson Cerezo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Furia Calamar getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Nacho Vázquez hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Camilo Marin notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Família Ressaca MZ's Fábio Meirelles. Fábio Meirelles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ronaldo Martínez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Furia Calamar made a substitution. After 68th play minutes Wanderson Cerezo shot 3-4, a short shot which went by Damaso Panfilo and just under the crossbar into goal. 72 minutes into the match, Furia Calamar's goal looked a bit too open when Tales Salles came free, but Damaso Panfilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Camilo Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Furia Calamar booed when Família Ressaca MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Marin struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Fábio Meirelles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furia Calamar. 77 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Martínez came free, but Fábio Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Semeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Fábio Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Delmar Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes, Furia Calamar's Horacio Behe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fábio Meirelles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Furia Calamar reached it. Delmar Duarte took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fábio Meirelles. Fábio Meirelles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. 97 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Semeno came free, but Fábio Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
