When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Alejandro Chano took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fábio Meirelles to make any attempt to save it. Fábio Meirelles made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when German Txindoki sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th match minute, Platense es de Primera!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Lugo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Chano in the 18th minute of play forced Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper Fábio Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fábio Meirelles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from German Txindoki went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dionisio Cidro during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Família Ressaca MZ booed when Platense es de Primera!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Cidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th match minute, Família Ressaca MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Brito to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute German Txindoki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Família Ressaca MZ's Fábio Meirelles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Família Ressaca MZ from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper Fábio Meirelles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Chano. Jairo Medero charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jairo Medero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fábio Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Cidro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. German Txindoki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dedê Duarte's late challenge caught a Platense es de Primera!!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedê Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. Dedê Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Platense es de Primera!!'s Jorge Txilar was substituted for Roman Kimetz. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wanderson Cerezo to strike the kick off in the second half. Fábio Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 60th minute Anacleto Eguen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
