The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gláuber de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Ţurcaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. AFC PunisherS™'s Costin Ignătoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo de Toledo in the 9th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Ramón Rosa in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AFC PunisherS™'s Gavril Chibulcutean. Gavril Chibulcutean charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavril Chibulcutean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ booed when AFC PunisherS™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Chibulcutean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdo de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Costin Ignătoiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ. Costin Ignătoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Gláuber de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sever Ţurcaş in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Valdo de Toledo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Costin Ignătoiu. Costin Ignătoiu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Costin Ignătoiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdo de Toledo went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. AFC PunisherS™'s Ciprian Groza was substituted for Fabian Ciociu. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Valdo de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdo de Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costin Ignătoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdo de Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Valdo de Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Costin Ignătoiu was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Costin Ignătoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Lara in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdo de Toledo in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costin Ignătoiu saved AFC PunisherS™ from getting behind. Costin Ignătoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa de Brito stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Costin Ignătoiu. 3-0. Costin Ignătoiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdo de Toledo went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Valdo de Toledo might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Costin Ignătoiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdo de Toledo ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Lara in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costin Ignătoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while AFC PunisherS™ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
