Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Simon Ferrer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Simon Ferrer might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xzavier Espindola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a rather tough play, Pink Floyd's Fabian Bihar got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 8 minutes, Cristobal Lizer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pink Floyd and the Challestone S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Challestone S.C. booed when Pink Floyd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Lizer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Ferrer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xzavier Espindola having to make a save. A collision led to Pink Floyd getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cirilo Tebaldo hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the game, Erick Villaelrriego recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aaron Jon. Erick Villaelrriego showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Simon Ferrer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xzavier Espindola was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience was convinced that Simon Ferrer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xzavier Espindola was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Xzavier Espindola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Ferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Erick Villaelrriego struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Aaron Jon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Challestone S.C.. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Cirilo Tebaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pink Floyd's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Tebaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xzavier Espindola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Cirilo Tebaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Xzavier Espindola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xzavier Espindola made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Simon Ferrer sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 59 minutes, Cristobal Lizer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pink Floyd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Lizer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Simon Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erick Villaelrriego in the 71st minute of the match. Aaron Jon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Asegninolaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 79 minutes Pink Floyd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erick Villaelrriego who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Erick Villaelrriego almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pink Floyd's Aaron Jon did a great save. With an all-out effort, Pink Floyd's Xzavier Espindola threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabian Bihar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 83rd minute Erick Villaelrriego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
