Spectators: 7512 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Norbert Bambas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Grigore Rânceanu came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by MKS Legion Częstochowa's Tytus Ogrodowicz. But to his dismay, Tytus Ogrodowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Gustaw Frodyma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MKS Legion Częstochowa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Steaua Bucuresti -MM- the free kick. After 8 played minutes MKS Legion Częstochowa got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Frodyma. Edmund Wielkopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Macarie in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Emil Kalinowski hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Edmund Wielkopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Drăgan in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norbert Bambas got free with Grigore Rânceanu in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Gustaw Frodyma was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. In the 25th match minute, MKS Legion Częstochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Frodyma to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toni Polster during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, MKS Legion Częstochowa's Toni Polster got a free kick in the 29th minute. Costel Drăgan kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Edmund Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Barbălată in the 39th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, MKS Legion Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Nichifor Barbălată came free, but Edmund Wielkopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Nichifor Barbălată got a free kick in the 54th minute. A collision led to MKS Legion Częstochowa getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Toni Polster hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Tytus Ogrodowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to MKS Legion Częstochowa getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Emil Kalinowski hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Tytus Ogrodowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. MKS Legion Częstochowa's supporters rose to their feet, but Tytus Ogrodowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigore Rânceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Emil Kalinowski fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MKS Legion Częstochowa's protests and gave Emil Kalinowski a yellow card for diving instead. Emil Kalinowski hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Grigore Rânceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tytus Ogrodowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Toni Polster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Grigore Rânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Polster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrei Macarie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Edmund Wielkopolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmund Wielkopolski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Petru Drăgan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 88 minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Toni Polster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Costel Drăgan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmund Wielkopolski narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
