Kajetan Turak came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Nichifor Barbălată. But to his dismay, Nichifor Barbălată quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Petru Drăgan scored 5-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kajetan Turak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Petru Drăgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Ivan Pășcuțoiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kajetan Turak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Kajetan Turak was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Nichifor Barbălată capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nichifor Barbălată really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. Petru Drăgan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kajetan Turak came out and tried to block the shot, but Petru Drăgan slotted it home off the left post making it 8-0 in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

The Steaua Bucuresti -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Nichifor Barbălată looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
