Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toni Polster in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Vogelsang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Toni Polster put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Simon Vogelsang. Tytus Ogrodowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of TSV Delliehausen booed when MKS Legion Częstochowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tytus Ogrodowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, TSV Delliehausen's Simon Vogelsang got control of the ball when Toni Polster tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Józef Pilsudski managed to get in a good position for a shot. MKS Legion Częstochowa's supporters rose to their feet, but Józef Pilsudski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Vogelsang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Finn Seel kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Simon Vogelsang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobald Gaszynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A wasted opportunity for MKS Legion Częstochowa. After some careless play in the MKS Legion Częstochowa defense, Dieter Kapelle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmund Wielkopolski. The MKS Legion Częstochowa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmund Wielkopolski should have stopped the shot. Teobald Gaszynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Simon Vogelsang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The TSV Delliehausen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TSV Delliehausen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
