Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teobald Gaszynski took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Narciso Gilen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Wielkopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Toni Polster had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Lano. Club Atlético Burzaco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toni Polster was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 9th match minute, MKS Legion Częstochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslaw Cichewski to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Lano was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Toni Polster capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Toni Polster really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Józef Pilsudski hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Toni Polster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Arnaldo Lano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MKS Legion Częstochowa were furious when Emil Kalinowski was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Emil Kalinowski hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, MKS Legion Częstochowa's Teobald Gaszynski got a free kick in the 25th minute. Arnaldo Lano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Toni Polster showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. Józef Pilsudski might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Lano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Józef Pilsudski ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Bermund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Józef Pilsudski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Legion Częstochowa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Józef Pilsudski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Benicio Papo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Burzaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MKS Legion Częstochowa the free kick. In the 60th minute, Victorio Bertran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnaldo Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Polster in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Burzaco's Narciso Gilen got a free kick in the 75th minute. Arnaldo Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Polster in the 82nd minute of play. If Benicio Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, MKS Legion Częstochowa's Toni Polster nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnaldo Lano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When the referee ended the match the MKS Legion Częstochowa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
