The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Carlos Fernando Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-1 became the score in the 12th minute when Paublo Suso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 15th minute Gabirel Golpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Esquipula Ascarza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Roberto Chaves was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Vladimir Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot. União Agrícola Barbarense's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Valadares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sagrario Adan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esquipula Ascarza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Sagrario Adan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 39 minutes of play, ASI NOMAS FC's Paublo Suso made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Roberto Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paublo Suso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zé Roberto Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimir Valadares's late challenge caught a ASI NOMAS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimir Valadares helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esquipula Ascarza made a kick off. Zé Roberto Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esquipula Ascarza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Esquipula Ascarza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. União Agrícola Barbarense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Paublo Suso scored to the left of an out of position Zé Roberto Chaves, making the score, 0-4. In the 59th minute, Esquipula Ascarza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Roberto Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Chuse Dopacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Zé Roberto Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delfim Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Vladimir Valadares got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 69th minute, Vladimir Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in União Agrícola Barbarense's zone, Armando Irazu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Roberto Chaves came out of the goal and Armando Irazu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Delfim Melo fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored União Agrícola Barbarense's protests and gave Delfim Melo a yellow card for diving instead. Delfim Melo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Esquipula Ascarza took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Roberto Chaves. Zé Roberto Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. When Armando Irazu fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASI NOMAS FC's protests and gave Armando Irazu a yellow card for diving instead. Armando Irazu kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play União Agrícola Barbarense's Delfim Melo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Delfim Melo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esquipula Ascarza got free with Zé Roberto Chaves in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esquipula Ascarza did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Zé Roberto Chaves 88 minutes into the match. Tuste Zumiza might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Roberto Chaves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tuste Zumiza ran back to his position shaking his head. Zé Roberto Chaves didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. ASI NOMAS FC played a much better game than União Agrícola Barbarense and deserved their victory. The União Agrícola Barbarense players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
