Spectators: 7385 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 70) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lino Arnau started the match with the kick off. Marcus Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júnior Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Arnau, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute, Gilberto Nofre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Júnior Neiva. The goal made the score 1-0. Júnior Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Nofre in the 15th minute of the match. Adolfo Silbestre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Júnior Neiva made a huge save. A hard shot by Erasmo Beltza from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Júnior Neiva's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in XV de Indaial's zone, Gilberto Nofre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júnior Neiva came out of the goal and Gilberto Nofre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Júnior Neiva made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Lino Arnau sent off a good shot on target. Júnior Neiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carolo Solustiano went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. XV de Indaial's Júnior Neiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save XV de Indaial from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Adelino Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Adolfo Silbestre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júnior Neiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After some careless play in the XV de Indaial defense, Adolfo Silbestre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júnior Neiva. The XV de Indaial fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júnior Neiva should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Nofre in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júnior Neiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Júnior Neiva was a little too slow when Erasmo Beltza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 5-0. After some careless play in the XV de Indaial defense, Gilberto Nofre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júnior Neiva. The XV de Indaial fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júnior Neiva should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the match, XV de Indaial's goalkeeper Júnior Neiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Silbestre. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Lino Arnau took a quick shot and it went in 7-0 without a chance for Júnior Neiva to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Armando Manuelo charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Manuelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of XV de Indaial booed when C.A.Esparta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Manuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júnior Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Solustiano in the 57th minute of the match. Adolfo Silbestre took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júnior Neiva. Júnior Neiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Júnior Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Arnau in the 62nd minute of play. XV de Indaial's Júnior Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Nofre in the 67th minute of play. Gilberto Nofre scored 9-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Júnior Neiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Júnior Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Arnau, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Júnior Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Arnau in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, XV de Indaial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Veiga to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Adolfo Silbestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júnior Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Arnau in the 80th minute of play forced XV de Indaial's goalkeeper Júnior Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, C.A.Esparta's Erasmo Beltza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Júnior Neiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Júnior Neiva came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Esparta's Carolo Solustiano. But to his dismay, Carolo Solustiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Júnior Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Manuelo in the 89th minute of the match. After 93 minutes of play, C.A.Esparta's Adolfo Silbestre made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júnior Neiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adelino Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that C.A.Esparta were the better team. C.A.Esparta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
