After some careless play in the ErbaA KartaLı defense, Ysidro Briones kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi. The ErbaA KartaLı fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi should have stopped the shot. A collision led to ErbaA KartaLı getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Timur Sazak hit a great ball. Ferrán Sarratea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kayhan Sacid came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the ErbaA KartaLı fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kayhan Sacid couldn't finish the play. Ballet Azul's Esteban Carrera got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ysidro Briones in the 23rd minute of the match. Lino Varletta might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Varletta ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, ErbaA KartaLı's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Carrera came free, but Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes ErbaA KartaLı got a freekick which was hit by Kayhan Sacid. Yenal Faydalı hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, ErbaA KartaLı's Kayhan Sacid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alonzo Angellotti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ErbaA KartaLı's Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save ErbaA KartaLı from getting a goal against them. Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Carrera in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melih Cevdet Tecimen made a kick off. If Tahsin Çalımbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the game, Ferrán Sarratea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 60 minutes into the match, ErbaA KartaLı's goal looked a bit too open when Ysidro Briones came free, but Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ysidro Briones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonzo Angellotti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melih Cevdet Tecimen in the 65th minute of play. Melih Cevdet Tecimen hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. ErbaA KartaLı's Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferrán Sarratea in the 67th minute of play. Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Carrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferrán Sarratea in the 73rd minute of the match. Ysidro Briones scored 4-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Ballet Azul's Esteban Carrera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferrán Sarratea, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Timur Sazak kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Faruk Nafiz Ünverdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ysidro Briones in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of ErbaA KartaLı booed when Ballet Azul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loreno Deves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ballet Azul's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
