After a rather tough play, Reac Futebol Clube's Pedro Bilek got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Geraldo Queiroz was a little too slow when Zézinho Tinoco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Dudu Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Hugo Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reac Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rockets the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Reac Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Machado to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the game, Zézinho Tinoco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Geraldo Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geraldo Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Machado's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Geraldo Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Reac Futebol Clube's Adelino de Alcântara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geraldo Queiroz. That made the score 3-0 after 44 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Hugo Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Queiroz having to interfere. After 56 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Pimenta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rockets and the Reac Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 minutes of play, Reac Futebol Clube's Zézinho Tinoco made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geraldo Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Rockets's Dudu Madureira in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reac Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Fausto Leite was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joélson Melo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 69 minute of play. In the 76th minute, Zézinho Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th match minute, Rockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Hugo Machado notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Rockets's Geraldo Queiroz. Geraldo Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th match minute, Reac Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Machado to maneuver through the defense. Fabinho Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Leite having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Reac Futebol Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
