In the 4thth minute of the game Dito Tasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tacheros OFF's Rigoberto Eyague was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to DJVAGALUMY FC. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ulysses Xavier hit a great ball. If Hernani Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The DJVAGALUMY FC. fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Eliseu de Toledo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tacheros OFF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Hernani Romero scored to the left of an out of position Rigoberto Eyague, making the score, 2-0. Amadeo Gartxot took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kléber Abreu. Kléber Abreu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 38th match minute, DJVAGALUMY FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Ranolfo came free, but Kléber Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Tacheros OFF's Camilo Ranolfo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kléber Abreu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Ranolfo in the 47th minute of play forced DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goalkeeper Kléber Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dito Tasso to make the kick off. Ambrosio Fidensio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Abreu having to interfere. When Luís Sena was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 52 minutes had been played. In the 54th minute of the match, Ambrosio Fidensio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kléber Abreu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 55 minutes into the game, Amadeo Gartxot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacheros OFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DJVAGALUMY FC. the free kick. In the 55th minute, Amadeo Gartxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulysses Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Kléber Abreu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Camilo Ranolfo. With a little luck, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Kléber Abreu got control of the ball when Ambrosio Fidensio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Gartxot got free with Kléber Abreu in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rigoberto Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dito Tasso in the 63rd minute of the match. Kléber Abreu was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Amadeo Gartxot capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amadeo Gartxot really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Ranolfo in the 68th minute of play forced DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goalkeeper Kléber Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Kléber Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Gartxot in the 78th minute of play. After 79 played minutes DJVAGALUMY FC. got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Bezerra. After 83 played minutes Tacheros OFF got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Ospin. In the 85th minute, Tacheros OFF's Bartolo Rius seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bartolo Rius the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tacheros OFF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bartolo Rius had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tacheros OFF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Rigoberto Eyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dito Tasso in the 90th minute of the match. Tacheros OFF's Rigoberto Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Tasso in the 93rd minute of play. Rigoberto Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dito Tasso in the 96th minute of play. Tacheros OFF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
