Bengt-Åke Smitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kálmán Horváth in the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Smitt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balázs Héj. With a little luck, Karen FC's Bengt-Åke Smitt got control of the ball when Bertold Csonka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bon Guidetti hit a great ball. When Sándor Szilágyi came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Várdomb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sándor Szilágyi couldn't finish the play. Bengt-Åke Smitt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kálmán Horváth showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 44 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Karen FC's Bengt-Arne Pihlberg got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Márton Zádori stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Márton Zádori came free, but Bengt-Åke Smitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
